The Watchman On The Wall

The Watchman On The Wall
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Verse 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Irena Sendler

The Godly woman Irena Sendler; may God send us more women like her;

A righteous Gentile, Irena Sendler, Died: May 12, 2008, aged 98 in Warsaw, Poland.

Genesis 12
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

During the Holocaust the godless Nazis put the Jews and other so-called social misfits behind walls and electrified fences. After the Holocaust God put Germany behind an Iron Curtain and a Berlin Wall.

During the Holocaust Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw ghetto, as a plumbing and sewer specialist. She had an ulterior motive. Irena smuggled Jewish infants out of the ghetto in the bottom of the tool box she carried. She also hid children a burlap sack in the back of her truck, for larger kids. Irena kept a dog in the back of the truck that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers, of course, wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered any noise the children or infants made. Irena smuggled out and saved 2500 children.
Ultimately, she was caught and the Nazi's broke both of her legs and arms and beat her severely.
Irena kept a record of the names of all the children she smuggled out, in a glass jar that she buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war she tried to locate any parents that may have survived and tried to reunite the families. Almost all the parents died at the hands of the Nazis. She helped the children get foster families or get adopted. In 2007 Irena was nominated for the Nobel Peace but she was not selected.

It is now more than 65 years since the Second World War in Europe ended. More than six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests were murdered, raped, burned and starved by the godless Nazis.
